What a great way to spend the Columbus/Indigenous People Holiday! Join Catonsville Rails To Trails (CRTT) on the Catonsville Short Line Trail to learn about the rich history of this former railroad line and how it impacted the development of Catonsville from 1884 to 1972. Discover the hard work of CRTT volunteers who have turned this abandoned rail lines into a hike/bike trail. Learn about plans to install historical wayside exhibits and works of art along the trail. This is a casual hike/tour with lots of stops to discuss the trail’s history and future.

Location: Meet at the Santa House next to the Catonsville Firehouse (756 Frederick Road, 21228) beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Tickets are $15.00 (there are no free tickets for this event).  For more information or to register, go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1-mile-historic-hiketour-on-the-catonsville-short-line-tickets-419212685427.  The first 26 people to sign up will receive a $10 gift certificate to State Fare to enjoy lunch after the hike/tour.
