Gary Teegardin loved the grace and beauty of the Duesenberg car and named his popular Catonsville restaurant, Duesenberg’s Café and Grill, after this vintage vehicle.  Duesenbergs were among the most luxurious American cars ever made, and historians have likened them to an American version of the Rolls Royce.  The vehicles were popular with movie stars, royalty, and other wealthy individuals.

Gary collected Duesenberg memorabilia. He was particularly enamored with a poster he obtained and decided to put the image on the side of his building. The poster features a goddess-like woman holding a pair of white wings over a Duesenberg car.
