Nether, a local Baltimore street artist and muralist, has murals all over the city of Baltimore. He is the artist of the “Forward” mural on the east side of this building which was painted with aerosol paints.
Nether paints murals that are not only beautiful but extremely relevant and specific to the community. He views his public art as a “street art series” he sprinkled around the city. Nether describes this mural: “To me, it represents freedom and exploration in life. I used to sit on the top of an apartment building as a kid and throw them off with one of my childhood friends. Symbolically represents the act of throwing ourselves into the world and letting the wind take us where we go in life.”
